Haroldson-Rothrock Wedding

Miss Ingetta Haroldson and Mr. Albert Rothrock Married at High Noon.

A wedding of interest to friends and relatives in this city and Blairsburg was solemnized near Linn Grove in the Little Sioux Valley church Tuesday at high noon, when Ingetta Haroldson, daughter of Mrs. Alice Haroldson, of Linn Grove, become [sic] the bride of Mr. Albert Rothrock, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Rothrock.

Single Ring Ceremony.
The Rev. Theo Lerud officiated, using the single ring ceremony.
Prof. Grant McDonald, of the conservatory of music of Buena Vista college, played Mendelssohn's "Wedding March." This was followed by the song, "Oh Promise Me," sung by the sister of the bride, Mrs. Henry Gensen.
Mrs. Rothrock wore an ankle length white satin dress and bridal veil with lace mitts and accessories to match. She carried a bridal bouquet of roses, snapdragons, and baby's breath.
She was attended by Miss Lucile Welch, of Webster City, cousin of the bridegroom, who wore a pale green chiffon dress, ankle length, with white hat and gloves. Mr. Rothrock wore the conventional blue. He was attended by Mr. Everett Engelbretson, of Linn Grove, cousin of the bride.
The church was beautifully decorated with plants and flowers.

Wedding Dinner.
Following the ceremony the guests went to the bride's home where a reception was held. A color scheme of pink, white and green was carried out in the serving of a three course dinner to about 45 relatives and friends.
The Rev. Lerud, acting as toastmaster, gave a short talk. Professor McDonald played several selections on the piano.
Mrs. Rothrock is a graduate of the Linn Grove high school and attended St. Olaf college at Northfield, Minn. She continued her education at the Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls from which she received her B.A. degree. She taught in the high schools at Buckeye, Meriden and Doon, and studied voice and piano at Chicago for a year.
Mr. Rothrock attended the Blairsburg high school after which he was engaged in faring on his father's farm near Blairsburg. Last spring he moved from the farm to Webster City.

Wedding Trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Rothrock left yesterday afternoon for their honeymoon trip through the Black Hills and Yellowstone National park. Upon their return they will be at home to their many friends on a farm near Linn Grove.
Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Rothrock, of Webster City, and the Misses Edith and Florence Rothrock and Miss Lucile Welch, of Webster City and rProf. [sic] Grant McoDnald [sic], of Storm Lake.
