Popular Young People Wed (The Enterprise)

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gillman in Webster City, last Thursday, February 17, occurred the marriage of their daughter Florence to J.I. Hoag of this vicinity.

Only the immediate members of the two families were present to witness the ceremony.

Rev. C.V. Pence officiated, using the beautiful and impressive ring service, the young couple taking their place before an arch of pink and white carnations, and beneath a wedding bell, while Mrs. Pence rendered the wedding march from Lohengrin.

The bride was gowned in brown brege messaline and carried a bouquet of white carnations. She is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gillman and has a host of friends in Webster City who wish her happiness and contentment in her wedded life.

The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Hoag of Blairsburg, a thrifty and energetic young farmer and highly respected by all. he has farmed for himself the past year, and has rented a farm near Jewell, where he and his bride will make their home on their return from their honeymoon which is being spent in Missouri.

The Enterprise joins their many friends in extending hearty congratulations of Mr. and Mrs. Hoag, and wishing them the success due them in their new relations.
