A pretty wedding was solemnized yesterday morning at 8 o'clock in the Catholic parsonage at Williams when Miss Sadie Gleason became the bride of Mr. Arthur Carpenter, of Edgewood.

The Rev. Father O'Donnell, of the Catholic church of Williams, officiated. The couple was attended by Miss Cecelia Hines and Mr. Maxwell Barker.

The bride was very attractive in a dress of shell pink flat crepe with hat and accessories to harmonize, while her bridesmaid wore blue flat crepe with accessories to match.

Mrs. Carpenter is the youngest daughter of Mrs. Alvina Gleason and has lived here all her life. She was graduated from the Blairsburg high school in 1922 and attended Iowa State Teachers college. She has been one of Hamilton county's most successful teachers.

Mr. Carpenter was graduated from Upper Iowa university where he affiliated with F?ho Sigma Chi fraternity and has taught in the Blairsburg high school and other high schools the past four years.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party in Webster City.

Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter are enjoying a brief honeymoon trip at Des Moines.

Those present from Blairsburg were Miss Mary Gleason, J.W. Gleason, Mrs. Alvine Gleason and son, Theodore, and Mrs. F.B. Woods and daughter, Lenore; Mrs. J.S. Pyle of Waterloo, an aunt of the bride, and Superintendent and Mrs. Finnley, of Edgewood.

Undated.
