Conrad Newspapers

STUCK

Please advise if Conrad had a newspaper in 1884 which has been preserved on microfilm. I am looking for a birth announcement for a daughter (Perle) of Adolph Stuck who was born 30 October or November in 1884 or 1885. I have conflicting documents for her birth. I was in Grundy Center yesterday and there is no record of her birth in the courthouse and there was no news brief in thier microfilmed newspapers. The record of her marriage gave her birthplace as Conrad, where the family was living in the 1885 Iowa State Census. That census lists a one-year-old daughter named Jennie, who is unknown to the family. I'm wondering if Jennie was later called Perle. kimdavenport@mchsi.com If Conrad did have a newspaper back then, would someone be willing to look on the microfilm for a news brief.
