MRS. MEINDERS, 94, DIES WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Mrs. Aline Meinders died last night at the Christie Convalescent Home. Her home had been at Grundy Center.

Born in Eastfriesland, Germany, October 27, 1860 the daughter of Henry and Ella Spiek she married Harbert Meinders, September 4, 1879 in Germany. They came to this country in 1890 where he died in 1929.

Surviving are five sons, all of Cedar Falls, They include Ted, Hiko, Mike, Herman, Richard, two daughters, Mrs. C. G, Chapman, Storm Lake, and Mrs. Christina Beckman, Waterloo, 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home where the body was taken. Dr. Kenneth Metcalf will officiate. Burial will be at Grundy Center.
