ALBERT MEINDERS, 69, DIES THIS MORNING

Albert (Mike) Meinders, 69, 514 Clay died at 4:55 a.m. today at his home. He was born in Germany, Aug 23, 1888, the son of Herbert and Ilene Meinders. The family came to this country where on December 29, 1916 he married Florence Webrand in Waterloo. Since 1942 the couple lived at 514 Clay. He was a cement contractor, retiring in January of this year 1958.

He is survived by his wife and one son; Raymond, Waterloo; three brothers; Ted 510 4th Avenue; Herman, 1125 Clay; Dick, 916 West 18th St.; two sisters,Mrs. C.G. Chapman , Storm Lake and Mrs. Christine Beckman, Waterloo and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Howard
Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery at Lincoln Center.

The body is at Nelson Funeral Home.
