Mrs. C. A. Buffington Is Dead at Morrison

Morrison, March 10--Mrs. C. A. Buffington, for many years a resident of Morrison and vicinity, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Luther Morrill, following an illness of several months.

Mrs. Buffington was born Sept. 26, 1870, in southern Illinois. She was married Dec. 24, 1891, to Clifford A. Buffington of Mt. Carroll, Ill. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Grundy county. They moved to Morrison in the spring of 1918. For the last three years they have made their home with their daughter.

Mrs. Buffington is survived by her widower, two sons, Lloyd R. Buffington, Cedar Rapids, Donald Buffington, Reinbeck, one daughter, Mrs. Leota Morrill, Reinbeck, three grandchildren, two brothers, William, Mound City, Ill., and Lemuel A., Morrison, and three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Shafstal, Mount Shasta, Calif., Mrs. Mary E. Bennett, Mount Carroll, Ill., and Mrs. Sarah Davis McDonald, Kan.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday from the Gauge funeral home. Burial will be in the Morrison cemetery.
