Otto Brown, who has been a resident here for several years, died very suddenly Saturday evening while sitting in a chair in the Cal Buffington building. Heart failure was the cause of his death. Mr. Brown was born in Dubuque in the year 1861. He leaves a brother, living in Wisconsin and a niece and nephew living in Waterloo, who were present at the funeral, which was held Monday, Jan. 30. Rev. Smith, who spoke here Sunday, officiated. Interment was in Morrison cemetery.

Mr. Otto Brown died very suddenly Saturday night about 10 o'clock in the H. C. Buffington building while sitting in a chair. He was born at Dubuque, Iowa, and has been a resident of this place for several years. His age was about 64 years. The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Smith, of Yetter, Iowa, who preached Sunday at the Presbyterian church. His niece and nephew, from Waterloo, were here to attend the funeral. He also leaves another brother in Wisconsin. Burial took place in the cemetery south of town.
