Mrs. Ken Brown Dies Suddenly While Asleep

Mrs. Kenneth Brown, living a mile west and a mile north of Reinbeck, died in her sleep some time during the early hours of Wednesday morning. When her husband called her to get up yesterday morning, he discovered she was dead.

Mrs. Brown had been afflicted with gallstones for some time. She had a very severe attack the night before her death and a doctor was called to attend her.

Mrs. Brown's maiden name was Jane McIntyre. She was born at Morrison January 9, 1920. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McIntyre. She was married to Kenneth Brown in March 1936. There are three children: Opal, 5; Shirley, 3; Larry, 1. Other relatives are the husband, her parents, four brothers and five sisters. One brother, Omar, is in the army and he is in training at Camp White, Oregon. He was home on furlough and started back to his training camp Tuesday night before learning of his sister's sudden death. Other surviving brothers are Donald, Roger and Dale. Robert was killed in the U.S. service in Honolulu last year. Surviving sisters are Mrs. Vivian Weatherly, Conrad; Mrs. Faye Lowe, Luverne; Neva, Eva and Phyllis are at home.

The Brown family were occupying a tenant house on the John Strohbehn farm. Mr. Brown is working for Mr. Strohbehn.
