Mrs. Wm. Hanisch Died Sunday

Mrs. Wm. Hanisch, 42, died Sunday afternoon at three o'clock. She had been seriously ill about a year and a half ago and she had never completely recovered from that illness.

They visited relatives in the Conrad community about a week ago and on returning home, she became ill with the flu. Her condition was not thought to be critical but Sunday morning about one a.m. she went into a coma and was taken to the hospital. She died at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon without having gained consciousness. Services were held Tuesday at Park Rapids and Thursday at Ferree Chapel, Grundy Center, at 2, with burial at Morrison.

Mrs. Lillian Hanisch was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neumann Sr. and grew up in the Conrad community. She was married to Wm. Hanisch in December, 1931, and they lived in Morrison and Grundy Center until 1948 when they purchased the Blue Spruce resort at Park Rapids, Minn. She was a member of St. Elmo Chapter of the O.E.S. in Conrad and of the church at Morrison.

She is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Beach of Marshalltown and Mrs. Theryl Gale of Conrad and one brother, Frank Edward Naumann Jr.
