Mrs. Zoe Tucker Copley

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Zoe Tucker Copley, 85, a former Waterloo resident who died at the Eastern Star Home in Boone Friday morning.

She was born Oct. 14, 1888, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of William F. and Martha J. Thompson. She lived in Waterloo since 1903, attending West High School. She was a graduate of Palmer School of Chiropractic.

She was married to Jack Tucker April 12, 1911, who died in 1928. She married J. Lawrence Copley Oct. 16, 1959[sic], and he died in 1961.

She was a McCall Magazine Corp. representative for 20 years.

Survivors include a brother, William Thompson, 5036 Weiden Rd.; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Eby, and Mrs. Martha Shoemaker, both of 833 W. Second St.

Committal services will be at Morrison Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
