Services Were Friday For Reka Dingel

Mrs. Reka Dingel, 87, died last Tuesday, December 5 at the Maple Manor Nursing Home at Aplington where she had resided nearly four years. Death was attributed to complications of age. Funeral services were held Friday at the French Funeral Home at Reinbeck with Rev. Clell Hickman, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Reinbeck, officiating. Burial was in the Morrison cemetery.

Mrs. Dingel was born September 28, 1885 in Holland, Grundy county, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Trinna Sitters. She was married to John Dingel over 50 years ago. He died in 1948.

She is survived by two sons, Carl of Morrison and Henry of rural Parkersburg; one brother, Henry Sitters of St. Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, two sisters, two brothers and one great-granddaughter.
