L. K. Lampel Dies at County Hospital

L. K. Lampel, a patient at the hospital at the county farm, died Wednesday night. He was born in France, Feb. 14, 1871. He came to the United States at the age of 14. After living in Marshalltown for 10 years he then went to Wellsburg, where he made his home 12 years. Returning to Marshalltown he was here eight more years before entering the county home.

He was married to Miss Edith Galley, at Vinton, Oct. 5, 1915. Mr. and Mrs. Lampel were later divorced.

Surviving are a son, Alvin Lampel, in a C.C.C. camp at Malvern, and a daughter, Zelma, with her mother in this city. Several brothers and a sister also live in France.

No arrangements for the funeral had been made today.
