Harry Eberline Dies at Ames

Harry Eberline, who was born on a farm in Pleasant Valley twp. and who grew up there, died last Wednesday at his home in Ames following a heart attack. He was 66 years old. He had been in failing health in late years.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eberline, who were early residents of north Grundy. He was born February 9, 1890. On November 17, 1913, Harry Eberline and Pearl Hamersley were married. They farmed several years in Hardin county and then moved to a farm in Marshall county. In 1952 they retired from farming and moved to Ames.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Pursel-Davis funeral home in Marshalltown. Burial was in the Marshalltown cemetery.

Surviving are the widow and two children. Other surviving members of his family are one brother and three sisters. The brother is Ford Eberline, Wellsburg. The sisters are Edna and Hazel Eberline and Mrs. Maude Harms, all from Wellsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
