Maggie Doyen Dies At Pipestone, Minn.

Word was received here Monday afternoon announcing the death of Miss Maggie Doyen, who spent the early part of her life in Wellsburg. She was 67 years old.

Miss Doyen was a daughter of Heye Doyen, among the early residents of Wellsburg. About 30 years ago she left here for Pipestone, Minn., and made her home continually with her brother George and family. She continued to make her home there after her brother died a few years ago.

Funeral services are being held at Pipestone this afternoon where she will be buried. Several of her relatives from here will go to Pipestone for the funeral services.

John Doyen returned home on Sunday night from Pipestone, Minn., where he went to attend the funeral of Miss Maggie Doyen, who died a week ago Monday. She was afflicted with diabetes and a heart ailment. She was 69 years old.
