Many Attend Services For Meint Thomas

Funeral services for Meint H. Thomas, veteran grocer who died on Wednesday at his home in Marshalltown, were held at the Pursel funeral home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Orval H. Cox. Burial was in Riverside. Pallbearers were George Lewis, William Presnall, Sam Doonan, John Snittjer, Martin Luther and A. J. Janssen.

Mr. Thomas was born in Grundy county, February 6, 1881, the son of Herman and Grace Thomas. On August 6, 1902, he married Miss Carrie Primus at Wellsburg where they lived until 1907 when they moved to Albion. They moved to Marshalltown in 1922, and have ever since lived there.
