Died--Mrs. D. Dutton, after a lingering illness and at her home, two and one-half miles north-east of Grundy Center, Sunday morning, Oct. 21st, at 10 o'clock. The funeral took place from the Baptist church, of which she was a member, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. F. M. Archer preached the sermon. The deceased leaves a husband, two small children, and several brothers to mourn her loss. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community in this their sad affliction.

Obituary

Miss Sallie Adelia Brockway was born in the town of Handcock, Bookshire Co., Mass., Feb. 1852. She united with the First Baptist church of Pittsburg, Mass., March 1869 and a few years later with the Grundy Center Baptist church by letter. She was married some five years ago to Mr. D. Dutton. Died at her home near Grundy Center, Ia., Oct. 21st, 1888. A husband and two children mourn her loss.
