In Loving Memory Of Mary Joslin

Mary Joslin of Dike, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, of cancer, having attained the age of 50.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 15, 1996, at the United Methodist Church in Dike with burial following in the Elmwood Cemetery in Dike. The Reverend Rick Johnson officiated.

Pallbearers were David Dunnwald, Larry Erpelding, Bob Luders, Keith Klar, Dean Knudsen, and Harvey Mayer.

Mary was born on January 29, 1946, the daughter of Oren and Abena (Gronwald) Jackson in Sheridan, Missouri. On June 9, 1967, she was united in marriage with Ronald Joslin in the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center.

Mary graduated from high school in Bedford, Iowa. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and being with her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother; and two brothers, James and Donald Jackson.

Survivors include her husband Ronald of Dike; two daughters, Peggy VanDorn of Waterloo, and Vicki Jennings (Brian) of Centralia, Missouri; one son, Todd of Dike; father, Oren Jackson of Bedford, Iowa; eight brothers, Harry of St. Joseph, Missouri, Lawrence of Creston, Glen of Lennox, Bill of Osceola, Eldon of Mt. Ayr, Doug of Bedford, and Richard of Danville, Iowa; three sisters, Betty Mackie of Grundy Center, Lillian Schiller of Dike, and Ella Mae Cousin of Sheridan, Missouri; and one granddaughter, Tara Smith.

The Dike Funeral Chapel in Dike, Iowa, was in charge of the professional arrangements.
