Hinkle Services

Services for Adrian J. Hinkle of 238 West Elder Street were Wednesday morning at the Dike United Methodist Church with burial at the Elmwood Cemetery. There were Masonic services for Mr. Hinkle at the Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls on Tuesday evening. Mr. Hinkle, 65, died at his home Saturday night.

He was born November 28, 1916 at Hopewell, Virginia, the son of William and Virginia Chestnut Hinkle. He was married to Janette Sparks and later divorced. Prior to his retirement in 1981 he was an engineer with NASA in Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Hinkle moved to Dike in July of 1981.

Survivors include one son, William of Dike; a brother, Orville Hinkle of Gordonsville, Virginia; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Porter of Hampton, Virginia; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Dike United Methodist Church.
