Services Held For Carolyn Lundstrom, 38

Carolyn Faye Lundstrom, 38, of Whitewater, MO, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, at Cape Girardeau, MO.

Funeral services were held at the Liberty Baptist Church, Dike, on Saturday, December 12, at 2 p.m. Rev. Lynn Stroup and Rev. Jack Allen officiated.

Special music was provided by Evelyn Shaulis, and she also played selected numbers for the prelude and postlude.

The casket bearers were Melvin L. Hall, Jr., Loren Hall, Kenneth Hall, Darrell Wright, Robert Stoval and Robert Dudley.

Interment was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Dike.

Relatives and friends were invited to return to the church following the committal services for a period of Christian fellowship and refreshments.

Services were also held at McCombs Funeral Home, Jackson, MO, at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 11.

Mrs. Lundstrom was born on March 24, 1949, the daughter of Melvin and Dorothea Mae King Hall. She was the wife of Rev. Robert Lundstrom, pastor of Lake Girardeau Assembly of God Church, Whitewater, MO.

She was a respiratory therapist for 20 years, most recently employed at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington, MO, and Foster Medical Corporation, Fredericktown, MO.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Dorothea (King) Hall; and a sister, Marjorie Hall.

She is survived by her husband; two children, Dawn Marie Eoff of Springfield, MO, and David Andrew at home; a grandfather, Ernest Hall of Orchard, NE; her father, Melvin L. Hall, Sr., of Dike; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Kruger of Hartington, NE, and Mrs. Darrell (Ruth) Wright of Waterloo; and three brothers, Melvin L. Hall, Jr., Glendale, AZ, Loren Hall, Phoenix, AZ, and Ken Hall, Dike.

The family has established a memorial fund and memorials may be directed to them.

The Dike Funeral Chapel, Dike, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
