Josephine Bowers, 83

Josephine Bowers, 83, died on Sunday Oct. 10 at the Grundy Care Center. Memorial Services were October 13 at Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church. Memorials may be directed to the family or Grundy County Hospice.

She was born Dec. 11, 1920 in Lincoln Township, the daughter of Wm. H. and Amy (Diekman) Conradi. She married Clarence "Swede" Bowers on Nov. 19, 1943. He died in Oct. 2001.

Mrs. Bowers graduated from Dike High School in 1938. She and her husband farmed near Dike for many years before they retired to town.

Survivors include: two sisters, Rosella Paige (Charles) and Gloria Gerstenkorn (Jim), both of Dike.
