Mrs. Pauline Cox Died Friday

Mrs. Pauline Cox, age 64, died Friday morning at 6:15 at the home of her son, Vernie. She had been ill several months, but bed fast about a month suffering with carcinoma.

She was born Sept. 18, 1882, in Berlin, Germany, daughter of Paul and Bertha Runge, and came to America with her parents when a young girl. She married John Cox and they made their home at Bancroft and Dike.

She leaves four sons, Vernie of Dike, Raymond of Fairbank, John and Arthur of Waterloo and one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Burk of Waterloo. Also several grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death April 6, 1945.

Funeral services were held at the Dahl Funeral home in Cedar Falls at 1:30 Sunday afternoon and at 2 o'clock at the Dike Methodist church with Rev. James Bird officiating. Burial was in the Dike cemetery.
