Arthur J. Cox, Former Resident, Dies In Waterloo

Former Dike resident, Arthur J. Cox, 56, of 211 Harwood St., Waterloo, passed away at his home last Friday noon, March 28, 1975, of complications of cancer.

Funeral services for Mr. Cox were held at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waterloo on Monday morning. Committal and burial services were to be held at the Dike Cemetery on Tuesday.

He was born Sept. 18, 1919 at Bancroft, the son of John and Pauline Runge Cox. He was a barber in Waterloo prior to his illness. He was married April 6, 1946 to Marian Lees in Waterloo. She passed away in 1952. He served with the Army Medical Corps during World War II.

He is survived by two brothers, Raymond Cox of Readlyn and John Cox of Waterloo and a sister, Mrs. L. H. Burk of 1130 Cornwall Ave., Waterloo.

The O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements.
