Cedar Falls--Services for Ethel M. Billman, 95, of Parkview Gardens Care Center, Waterloo, formerly of Cedar Falls, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike.

She died of complications of age Sunday (July 5) at the care center.

She was born March 23, 1892, in Grundy County, daughter of Peter and Sarah Maricle Klontz. She married Tony Billman on Aug. 27, 1914, in Grundy Center. He died July 10, 1977.

Survivors include four sons, Harlan of 1723 Maplewood Drive, Herbert of Clarion, Charles of 1406 Orchard Drive and Wayne of 1612 Franklin St., Waterloo; a daughter, Arlene Jones of 1750 Huntington Road Waterloo; and 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marion Vore, Herbert Klontz and Jesse Klontz; and a half-brother, William Klontz.

She was a past president of the Blue Star Mothers.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to services Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial fund has been established.
