Services Friday For John G. Deadrick, 43

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, Jan. 3 for John G. Deadrick, 43, of Seaton Drive, North Cedar, Cedar Falls. The services were at the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls with the Rev. Jack Singleton officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood cemetery at Dike under the direction of the Dahl-Van Hove Funeral Home.

Mr. Deadrick died of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning in the garage at his home last Tuesday evening after he apparently started his pickup with the garage door closed.

He was born Jan. 11, 1926, at New Hartford, the son of John W. and Jessie Jones Deadrick.

He is survived by his mother at 823 W. 4th St. and a sister, Mrs. Harley Kaiser of 1402 W. 5th St., both of Cedar Falls.
