Dike--Ruth E. "Ruby" Lupardus, 82, of Dike, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born August 22, 1930 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, daughter of Elmer J. and Edith M. (Snyder) Rubenbauer. She married Donald Lupardus on June 4, 1949 in DeWitt, Iowa.

She graduated from LeGrand High School and attended two years at Marshalltown Business School. She was employed as Bookkeeper with A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. and Kies Electric.

Survived by: her husband, Don; two daughters, Jeanne (William) McDermott of Cedar Falls and Janet McCoy of Tama, IA and Montgomery, TX; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: one son, Roger Lupardus; and one sister, Frances Groth.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Dike United Methodist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, both in Dike. Visitation for one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Richardson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dike United Methodist Food Pantry.
