Lorraine M. Timmer, 76

Lorraine M. Timmer, 76, of Dike, died Sunday, March 23, at her residence in Dike. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at Dike United Methodist Church, Dike. Memorials can be sent to the Dike United Methodist Church.

Lorraine was born July 30, 1926, in Fern, the daughter of Harm and Sophia (Klunder) Konken. Lorraine was united in marriage to Harry Timmer on July 2, 1948, at the Little Brown church in Nashua. She worked at the Dike United Savings Bank for 26 years. She was a member of the Dike United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary. Lorraine enjoyed bowling and bowled on a league, and was a member of the church softball team years ago. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather; her husband; and a brother.

Survivors include her son and wife; two sisters; brother-in-law; two nieces; and two great-nephews.
