Funeral Services Held For Addie Reed

Funeral services for Addie Reed, 82, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home were held Thursday, November 1, at the United Methodist Church in Dike. Mrs. Reed died the previous Monday evening at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

She was born October 16, 1897 at Stuart, daughter of William and Fannie Brown Linn. She married Edward Reed in 1917 at Little Cedar.

She is survived by three sons, Nathan of Cedar Falls, Lyle of West Des Moines, and William of Chula Vista, California; two brothers, Paul of Charles City and Ross of Provo, Utah; three sisters, Alice Tetzloff of Charles City, Ruth Jewett of Mason City and Edith Larsen of Cedar Falls; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or to the United Methodist Church at Dike.
