W. H. Koch Dies; Funeral at Dike Church Sunday

Dike, Ia.--Funeral services for W. H. Koch, 82, who died Thursday in the Odd Fellows home at Mason City, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Dike Methodist church.

He was born Apr. 22, 1866, in Illinois, son of Frederick and Dora Koch. He married Lulu Kluge in November, 1903, in Grundy county. His wife preceded him in death in November, 1931.

Survivors include one son, Earl, and one granddaughter, Carol Jeon, Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Lena Hoerman, Washington, Kan., and two brothers, Herman Koch, Britt, and Theodore Koch, Cedar Falls.

Burial will be in Dike cemetery. The body is at the Dahl funeral home.

Rites to Be Held Monday Afternoon

William Henry Koch, 82, died at 3 p.m. Thursday at the I.O.O.F. hospital, following an illness of a week. He had been a resident of the home 4 years.

Mr. Koch was born April 22, 1866, in Cook county, Ill. He was a resident of Cedar Falls, Iowa, before entering the home March 11, 1944. He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge 615 of Dike, Iowa, the Encampment, aCnton Phoenix and Rebekahs.

Surviving is a son, Earl Koch of Cedar Falls.

Funeral services will be held at Cedar Falls Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Dike. The McAuley and Son funeral home in charge.

W. H. Koch Dies At Mason City

W. H. Koch, 82, a former resident of Dike, Ia., passed away Thursday afternoon, Aug. 26, at the Odd Fellows Home in Mason City, where he had made his home the last 4 years. His death was caused by a stroke which he suffered 8 days before. He leaves one son, Earl, and one granddaughter, Carol Jean, of Cedar Falls; also one sister, Mrs. Lena Hoerman of Washington, Kans., one brother, Herman of Britt, and Theodore of Cedar Falls. Burial was made at Dike Sunday afternoon, Aug. 29, with services at the cemetery being in charge of the I.O.O.F. Lodge of which Mr. Koch was a charter member.
