Services Mar. 6 For Mrs. Moles

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon, March 6, 1976, for Mrs. Inez Moles, 85. Mrs. Moles passed away Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

The Rev. James F. Hanke, Jr. officiated at the 2 p.m. services which were held at the United Methodist Church in Dike. Organist, Mrs. John Paige played selected selections for the postlude, prelude and accompanied vocalists, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Graves. Mr. and Mrs. Graves sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset".

Ushers for the services were John Mulder, Jack Heritage and Russell Hohenberger. Mrs. Roger Davis, Miss Lori Davis and Mrs. Lorraine Timmer had charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were Clifford Moles, Donald Rose, Michael Rose, David Rose, Tom Rose and Kurt Petersen.

Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Dike. Friends were invited to return to the church for visitation and coffee served by ladies of the church.

The Dike Funeral Chapel were in charge of the arrangements and held public viewing at the Chapel on Friday and Saturday morning when the body was taken to the church for viewing prior to the services. The Grant Rebekah Lodge held Memorial services at the Chapel on Friday evening.

Inez Platner was born on May 3, 1890, in Jones County, Iowa, the daughter of George and Lena Platner. She was married to Clifford Lee Moles on Sept. 22, 1915 at St. Cloud, Minnesota. They lived in Laredo, Missouri, Omaha, Nebraska and Cedar Rapids, Central City and Traer before moving to Dike in 1920 where they spent the remainder of their married lives.

Mrs. Moles was a member of the United Methodist Church, Dike; the Methodist Women's Prayer Group, United Methodist Woman's organization, Grant Rebekah Lodge No. 305 and New Hartford No. 120 Order of the Eastern Star, Dike.

Mrs. Moles is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Titus of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Rose of Bellmount, California; one son, Clifford, of Woodside, Calif. and 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on August 8, 1975, an infant son and one brother.

A memorial fund has been established.
