Died--At her home in Dike, Iowa, February 12th, 1904, of blood poison in the 34th year of her life, Minnie, the beloved wife of G. C. Roberts. The above notice will be glanced over by hundreds of readers, while others will read with sorrow and regret--regret that one so good, so young and so loved, surrounded by a kind husband and loving children should be cut down like a flower in its bloom.

Minnie, daughter of Adam and Mary Bridgefame was born in Linn county, Oregon. She possessed a cheerful, loving disposition and won the affections of all who knew her. On the 12th day of November, 1890 in Colfax, Washington she became the wife of G. C. Roberts. Their union was a very happy one. They were honored and respected by all their neighbors and acquaintances. Her sickness was of short duration. For the last two days her death had been expected but did not come until 5:30 o'clock last Saturday. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. A. Lang at the M.E. church where an immense concourse of people had gathered to take a last look at the dear face that would soon be hidden from their gaze forever. It was a sad sight when the heart-broken husband and motherless children took their farewell look at the face of the dear mother who had always been so kind and loving to them, but whose voice was now stilled and eyes closed in death. Poor little children may the good Lord shield you and guide your little feet into pleasant places. After the services, the remains were laid away in the Elmwood cemetery. The tenderest sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family.
