Mrs. C. E. Freese Died Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Cornelius Freese died at her home four miles northwest of Dike at 4 o'clock Wednesday morning. Heart trouble and other complications were the cause. She was confined to her bed the last four months of her life.

Mrs. Freese was 27 years old. Her maiden name was Gesina Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Johnson of Lincoln township. She was born Oct. 23, 1908. All of her life was spent in Grundy county. She was married in 1926. The family have resided in northeast Grundy since the marriage nine years ago.

Surviving are the husband, a daughter Ruth, 8, and a son, Charles, 3. Other surviving members of the family are the father and mother and three sisters, Jeanette and Viola Johnson and Mrs. Ed Hansen.

Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church at Dike. The exact time of the funeral had not been determined when this was written, though it will probably be on Friday.
