Services for Jennie Boike, 81, of Waterloo, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Dike.

She died Saturday morning at Covenant Medical Center-Schoitz.

She was born Nov. 26, 1904, in Wellsburg, daughter of Ben and Ella Oswolt Harrenstein. She married Herman Boike Nov. 19, 1925, in Grundy Center.

They farmed in the Dike and Grundy Center areas, moving to Waterloo in 1948.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Russell of Ponca City, Okla., and Norman of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Evelyn Brecunier of Cedar Falls, and Betty Graybill and Carol McGrane, both of Waterloo; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Harrenstein of Grundy Center; and two sisters, Elsie Kruger of Holland and Ora Meyer of Stout.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roger.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until services on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
