Fred Brechbiel Rites at Yale
Funeral services were conducted from the Yale Methodist Church Sunday afternoon for Fred T. Brechbiel, 67, retired businessman and former Yale town official, who died Thursday at his home.
Brechbiel was an automobile dealer at Yale for 35 years. He also served the community as mayor, councilman, school director and was active in many other community affairs.
Survivors include his widow, and two daughters, Mrs. Russell Waters, Des Moines, and Mrs. Byron Murken, Oshkosh, Wis.

Fred Brechbiel Dies, Charter Legion Man
C. W. Ross received word of the death of Fred Brechbiel on January 4th, at Yale, Iowa.
Mr. Brechbiel worked for Mr. Ross from 1919 to 1924 and left for Yale where he had a garage up to the time of his death.
Mr. Ross and Mr. Brechbiel were army buddies.
He was married while here and is survived by his wife and two daughters.
They were both charter members of the Ashing-Jaspers Post of the American Legion at Wellsburg.
