William P. Albright, 80

Bridgewater--William Peter "Bill" Albright died Saturday (Jan. 22, 2005) at his home. He was born Feb. 10, 1924, at Warren County, Iowa, to Noah and Carrie (Bishop) Albright. He was a retired English professor at Bridgewater College, and he was an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren.

Mr. Albright was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Elaine (Brammell) Albright; a daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Albright of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sons, William Noah Albright of Dallas, Texas, and Nathan Webster Albright of Las Vegas, Nev.; and three sisters, Patricia N. Messamer of Sun City, Ariz, Avis Albright of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ardys Sutphin of Elizabethtown, Pa.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home.
