Elaine Albright, 88, of Bridgewater passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Sabetha, Kansas on May 10, 1925, and was a daughter of the late Everett W. and Lola D. (Miller) Brammell.

Elaine worked as a medical transcriptionist as well as a secretary in the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. She was a lifetime member of the Church of the Brethren.

She was united in marriage on August 8, 1948 to William Peter "Bill" Albright, who preceded her in death on January 22, 2005.

Surviving are two children, Kathryn Albright, of Bridgewater and William Albright and wife Nandita, of Dallas, TX; a sister, Maxine Haller, of Wichita, KS; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Brammell, of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kamal Albright, Austin Albright, Houston Albright, and Tyler Albright; two step-grandchildren, Corry Andrews-Biggs, and Joe Andrews; and four step great-grandchildren, Ailey, Harper, Marley, and Ezra.

She was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Albright.

A memorial service will be held at the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2014 with Rev. Jeffery Carr and Rev. Christopher Zepp officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
