Frank O. Sheller Rites On Friday

Frank O. Sheller, 86, well known Melrose township resident, died suddenly at his home near the Ivester church early Monday morning.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the Ivester Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Charles Albin in charge. Burial will be in the Sheller cemetery.

The deceased was born Sept. 9, 1876[sic], in Melrose township, the son of Samuel and Lydia Sheller.

On March 4, 1914, he was united in marriage to Minnie Johnson, and the couple made their home on a farm in Melrose township. Mrs. Sheller passed away in July, 1951.

At the time of his death, Mr. Sheller was serving as custodian of the Ivester church, a position he had filled faithfully for the past 20 years.

The deceased was a graduate of Mt. Morris College, Mt. Morris, Illinois.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marietta Young of Quincy, Wash., and Mrs. Jeanette Horn, Des Moines; one sister, Mrs. Katie Schwarck, Grundy Center; and 11 grandchildren.
