Funeral Saturday For Galen Albright

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ivester Church of the Brethren for Galen W. Albright, 88, of rural Eldora. He died Wednesday morning at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital.

Interment will be in the Sheller Cemetery with Andrle and Creps Funeral Home of Eldora handling arrangements.

Eldora-- Services for Galen Wayne Albright, 88, who died Wednesday (Aug. 20) at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ivester Church of the Brethren, rural Grundy Center; burial in Sheller Cemetery; survivors include his wife, Gertrude; five sons, Wayne of Hampton, Lyle of Wichita, Kan., Miles of Ames, David of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Ellis of Nappa, Idaho; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mae Crushwitz of Burwell, Neb., and Wilma Crushwitz of Eldora; and a brother, Bruce of Brainerd, Minn.; Andrle-Creps Funeral Home, Eldora, is in charge of arrangements.

The funeral of Galen W. Albright was held Saturday morning at the Ivester Church led by Pastor Phil Rieman. Galen is survived by his wife Gertrude and five sons and daughters-in-law. They, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives have visited the community this weekend.
