Waterloo--Florence V. Snapp, 88, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 4, 1910, in Masonville, daughter of John and Minnie Brown Patton. She married Albert Snapp on Oct. 30, 1938, in Waterloo. He died in 1980.

Mrs. Snapp was employed at Black's Department Store for 26 years, retiring in 1973.

Survived by: a sister, Irene Williams of Tampa, Fla.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, John and Jim Patton; and five sisters, Mary Kaney, Mabel Fleider, Alice Fleider, Ella Tendering and Anna Patton.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Parrott & Wood Funeral and Cremation Service, Waterloo, with burial in Sheller Cemetery, rural Grundy County. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.
