Ruby Belle Wagner, 77, of Union died June 12, 1997 at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls of natural causes.
Mrs. Wagner was born November 11, 1919, the daughter of Carl Admiral and Edna Cory Miller in rural Eldora. She received her elementary education from Mason #6 near Eldora, grades nine to 11 from Whitten High School and 12th grade from Eldora High School. She attended the Marshalltown School of Nursing. She later was employed at the Eldora Motor Company as a bookkeeper for 14 years.
She married Henry Wagner July 4, 1952 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harold, Kenneth and John.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Edna King and her husband, James of Runnells, Bette Wright and her husband, Steve of Eldora and Nancy Mehus and her husband, Neal of Radcliffe; one sister, Viola Sandhagen of Pomona, California; and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services were held June 16 at the Sheller Cemetery in rural Grundy County. Pastor Dawn Carder officiated.
A memorial fund has been established.
The Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora was in charge of arrangements.
