Fatal Accident Near New Hartford

F. W. Rice informs us of a fatal accident which occurred near New Hartford last Monday. George Ferris, living two miles south of that place, was moving a load of hay when his horses became frightened and ran away. Mr. Ferris held on to them until he was thrown with great force against a well-curb, breaking several of his ribs and otherwise injuring him internally, from the effects of which he died Tuesday night.
