Cedar Falls--Gladys I. Haurum, 89, of the Western Home, formerly of Route 4, died at the home Sunday, Dec. 1, of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 27, 1907, in Fairfield Township, Grundy County, daughter of Clarence and Clara Wagner North. She married Doug Grau in 1933; he died in 1973. She married Arthur Haurum in 1975; he died 1979.

Mrs. Haurum and her husband farmed in Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a stepgrandson

Preceded in death by: a stepson, Harlan Haurum.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, with inurnment in Fairfield Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
