Mrs. Frank I. Huntley

Waterloo relatives and friends Wednesday were advised of the death Tuesday evening at Downers Grove, Ill., of Mrs. Frank I. Huntley, 62, resident of the city 20 years, who succumbed to pneumonia after a brief illness.

Georgia Ferris was born on a Grundy county farm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ferris. Mr. and Mrs. Huntley moved to Waterloo in 1905. The husband was a carpenter. The family removed to Downers Grove in 1925.

Surviving are the husband; seven sons, Clyde, 432 Oliver street; Daniel, Paul and Burton, all of Downers Grove; Harold, Clinton, Ia., and Howard and Spencer, both of Lancaster, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Parker, Bassett, Ia.; a half-brother, Jay Griffith, 832 Kern street, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Sherman Swem, 534 Wallgate avenue, and Mrs. Clyde Case, New Hartford, Ia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Parrott & Wood chapel, Waterloo. Rev. Harold W. Singer, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery, near New Hartford, Ia.

Mrs. Frank Huntley

Burial rites were held last Friday afternoon at Fairfield cemetery for Mrs. Frank Huntley, who was formerly Georgia Ferris, a resident of New Hartford for many years. For the past twelve years the family has been living in Chicago. She was ill a long time but was taken with pneumonia at the last. She leaves her husband, seven sons and a daughter, besides two half-sisters, Mrs. Izabelle Case, New Hartford and Mrs. Lulu Swem, Waterloo.
