Services For Alle Jaspers Held Last Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for Alle Jaspers who died at the Iowa City hospital were held Friday afternoon Jan. 3 at 1:30 o'clock at the home and later at the Siemsen Church northwest of Wellsburg. Mr. Jaspers was 75 years old at the time of his death. He was a long time resident of this community and was engaged in farming practically all his life.

Surviving are his widow; four children, Abe A. and Okko of Steamboat Rock, Dores Jaspers of Union and Mrs. Florence Oelman of Ackley. There are two brothers; Henry and Ben of Steamboat Rock and three sisters; Mrs. Joe DeNeui of Wellsburg, Mrs. W. C. Laube of Dubuque and Mrs. John Wilts of Steamboat Rock; and 17 grandchildren.

Burial was in the family lot in the Siemsen church cemetery.
