Services Held For Dale W. Giesking

Dale W. Giesking, age 35, of Des Moines, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 20.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 23 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

Burial was in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Mr. Giesking was born in Grundy Center and had lived in Des Moines since 1970. He was a warehouse manager for Sherman-Williams. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; one daughter, Caci, at home; his mother and step-father, Mary and Arthur Meester of Holland; his father, William Giesking of Wellsburg; his sisters, Linda Schnell of Dike, Donna Kolder of Parkersburg, Gwen Kelbe of Westmont, IL and Lil Beavers of Eagan, MN; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Toma Meester of Holland.

The Southtown Funeral Home of Des Moines was in charge of the arrangements.
