Mrs. Johanne Westerhausen

Services for Mrs. Johanne Westerhausen, 45, of 7206 S.W. Sixteenth St., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dunn's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Westerhausen died Thursday of cancer at Iowa Methodist Hospital. She was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, and had lived in Des Moines 11 years. She had previously lived in Grundy Center.

Mrs. Westerhausen was a graduate of Wellsburg High School and Gates Business College in Waterloo. She worked as an accountant for the Municipal Airport Restaurant Co. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Brooker, Iowa City, and Margaret, at home; a son, Joseph, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanore Gast, Eldora, and Mrs. Doretta Hamilton, Golden, Colo.; and her mother, Mrs. Emil Brandes, Grundy Center.
