Mrs. E. V. Bryant Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Eugene V. Bryant, who for many years resided on a farm in Lincoln township, died Monday in the Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo where she had been a patient the last seven and a half weeks. She was 72 years old.

Funeral services will be at the French Funeral Home in Reinbeck at two o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Moline, Ill., March 5, 1879. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carsten Lundt. Her maiden name was Lzzie Lundt. She came to Grundy county with her parents as a child. On May 26, 1908 she and Eugene Bryant were married. They made their home on a Lincoln township farm 34 years. In 1942 they retired from the farm and moved to Reinbeck.

Surviving are the husband and two sons. The sons are Henry E. of Davenport and Harold F. of Grundy Center. Other surviving relatives are one brother, Carsten Lundt, Reinbeck; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Craig, Republic, Mo.; and Mrs. Grover Callahan, Orosi, California. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
