Former Reinbeck Woman Died At Traer

Mrs. Emelie Sweetser, 87, died early Wednesday at a convalescent home in Traer where she had been a patient for the last two years. Her daughter, Elsie, of Washington, D.C., had been with her since Saturday. Services were held Saturday at the French Funeral Home in Reinbeck with burial in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Mrs. Sweetser, the former Emilie Weiss, lived most of her life in the Reinbeck community. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter who died in infancy and a son who died in 1920.

Survivors are two daughters, Elsie and Mrs. Raymond Whannel of Oakdale, Conn., and two grandchildren.
