Former Grundy Woman Dies In Traer Nursing Home

Mrs. Roland Rogers died Sunday in a nursing home at Traer. Funeral services were at the Longnecker funeral home in Eldora on Wednesday. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers' maiden name was Ellen Longnecker. She was born in Maryland and came to Grundy county with her parents at the age of five and she grew up here. In 1903 she was married to George Rouf. There are four children surviving from this marriage. They are Mrs. Viola Anderson, Post Falls, Ida., Homer, Marshalltown; Leonard, Sioux City; Mrs. Goldie Kroskey, Toledo.

The deceased was married a second time last year to Roland Rogers from Reinbeck.
