Mrs. Melvin Freeseman

Final rites were conducted Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Melvin Freeseman, who passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at Ellsworth Hospital in Iowa Falls. Rev. David V. Dupee officiated at the services and interment was in the church cemetery. The Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sadie VanHeiden Freeseman was born near Ackley on November 28, 1908, the daughter of Cobus and Jennie Fluth VanHeiden. She was married to Melvin Freeseman on June 12, 1942 at the parsonage of the East Friesland Presbyterian Church by the late Rev. C. F. Siemsen.

Surviving her are her husband Melvin, a brother, Charles VanHeiden of Waverly. Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Marquardt and Miss Jennie VanHeiden.
